If your Lomi lid isn't closing, don’t worry—here’s an easy fix!
The Problem:
The notches on the metal gear inside Lomi and the bottom of the bucket may not be properly aligned. This misalignment pushes the bucket slightly upward, preventing the lid from locking.
How to Fix It:
-
Remove the Bucket
- Take the bucket out of Lomi.
- Ensure the bucket is completely empty.
-
Align the Arrows
- Place the empty bucket back into Lomi, making sure the arrows on the bucket and Lomi align.
-
Realign the Grinder
- Carefully push counterclockwise on the grinder inside Lomi.
- At this point, you should notice the bucket moving slightly upward.
- This is the coupling on the bucket bottom realigning with the internal component below it.
- Carefully push counterclockwise on the grinder inside Lomi.
-
Lock the Lid
- Once the bucket is realigned, the lid should lock in place without resistance.
Important:
- If you feel resistance when locking the lid, stop immediately. Forcing it may damage the tabs on the lid.
- You can also try turning the coupling component at the bottom of Lomi to assist with alignment.
