How do I change my Lomi Filters?

The good news is that Lomi makes this super easy!

Replacing the charcoal granules in Lomi’s filter cages keeps Lomi odour free and helps keep your home smelling fresh.

When the filters within Lomi are ready to be changed, the "change filter light" will illuminate, on the far right side of the main button on Lomi. This light will turn on every 3-6 months, depending on usage.

To change either of the filters, follow these simple steps!

***Always unplug the unit before replacing the filters’ activated carbon***

Back Filter

1. Open the back panel of the unit and remove the rectangular filter box. 
   • IF your unit has butterfly screws on the filter cage: Twist the wing nuts off to open the filter box and dispose of the used activated charcoal.
     IF your unit does not: There is a directional arrow on the side on the filter lid. Slide the lid off the filter cage in the direction the arrow.
2. Pour the new activated charcoal into the filter box.
   • IF your unit has butterfly screws on the filter cage: Place the lid back on top of the filter cage, tighten the butterfly screws, and replace the filter cage in its housing.
     IF your unit does not: Slide the lid back on to the filter cage in the opposite direction.
3. Shut the back panel of the unit. 

Top Filter

1. Open the lid, remove the cylindrical filter, and twist off the top.
2. Dispose of the used activated charcoal and pour the new activated charcoal into the cylindrical filter.
3. Twist the top back on and insert the cylindrical filter back into Lomi. 

Once you've replaced the activated charcoal in both of your Lomi's filters, please hold down the button for 10 seconds to reset your unit. Once the button has been released all the lights on Lomi will illuminate green, Lomi will beep and after that it'll be ready to use right away!
